Rydin Decal Announces Its 2012 Scholarship Award Winner!


We are excited to announce the winner of our 2012 Scholarship Award. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Tammy from Burbank, IL. Tammy will be attending the University of Denver this fall to pursue her undergraduate degree.

Rydin Decal $5000 Scholarship WinnerEstablished in 2000, the Rydin Decal Scholarship is awarded to one distinguished student each year based on displayed academic excellence and financial need.  The scholarship, in the amount of $5,000, will be granted at the end of the 2011/2012 academic year. Scholarship Funds will be distributed directly to the university to be used during her freshman year.

Tammy is a bright, enterprising and committed student. In addition to graduating in the Top Ten percent of her class, Tammy has been named an Illinois State Scholar and received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. She is also an accomplished member of the girl’s tennis team, Varsity Club, Principal’s Advisory Cabinet, Mathletes, and National Honors Society.

“Next year, I will be attending the University of Denver and majoring in Biology with the intent to go into Pre-Medicine. My aspiration is to do well at DU and one day become a doctor. Attending a university is not cheap and the competition is extensive. Therefore, I appreciate Rydin Decal’s support.”

Over the past 12 years, Rydin Decal has award over $235,000 in scholarship funds to qualified students.
